Proverb #148

Anụ gbaa ajọ ọsọ, agbanyereya ajọ egbe!”

'If the animal runs very fast the hunter shoots with greater precision'.

The livelihood of the hunter depends on getting game. However some animals have very sharp reflexes as well as SPEED! The hunter must shoot with precision or go empty handed.
In one (English) word - innovation! The increasing complexity of life always demands it. Therefore as this [see Proverb #110]  equivalent puts it - if the bird learns to fly without perching, the hunter learns to shoot without missing.
